The Medical Center for Integrative Medicine is a private clinic specialized in integrative medicine. Our goal is to combine the methods used both by the traditional and the alternative medical therapies, in order to further increase the efficiency of the treatment of chronic and oncological diseases, alike. Providing good quality of life, as well as its prolongation to the maximum possible extent when treating patients with cancer happen to be the main priorities in our medical practice. THE INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE IN OUR MEDICAL PRACTICE

As a result of our thorough research work in the field of contemporary integrative medicine, we materialized into practice and adapted to the facilities of our practice the basic principles for the treatment of chronic and oncological diseases. Taking into consideration the available conditions, we selected those methods which had proved their quality and efficiency; thus we apply them through a complex scheme for the treatment both of chronic, and of oncological diseases.

The requirements for the application of these methods presuppose the following: non-toxicity, proved efficiency, possibility for combination with other methods, and last but not least - availability and prices.

Ad hoc treatment schemes have been worked out which meet the individual needs and requirements of the patients with chronic and oncological diseases.

Our treatment is based on the main principles of holistic medicine; it is carried out as per each individual patient, and happens to be in keeping with his/her preferences and possibilities. Before embarking upon our treatment, we make a thorough analysis of the current state of our patients by using all available modern methods for diagnosis. If need should be, our treatment is being combined with the classic methods of treatment.

The complete Treatment Protocol comprises the following:

• specialized medical consultation (oncological, cardiological, etc.);
• medical consultation for judging the possibilities and the respective indices for the application of the Insulin-potentiated therapy(IPT);
• medical imaging (computer tomography or magnet resonance, echography, X-rays, scintigraphy);
• laboratory tests, tumour markers inclusively;
• working out the programme for the treatment;
• out-patients treatment;
• regular laboratory and medical check-ups.

The methods we use are versatile: nutrition therapy, de-toxification treatment, phyto therapy, immunologic therapy, insulin potentiated therapy, infusion therapy, orto molecular therapy, photo dynamic therapy(for skin diseases), electro therapy, ozone therapy, magnet therapy, laser therapy, thermo therapy.

One of the most popular methods for treatment, as per our treatment schemes, is the Insulin potentiated therapy (IPT). Currently, we happen to be the only medical clinic in this country having been licensed to apply IPT in cases of chronic and oncological diseases. This method could be successfully used for the treatment of the following chronic and oncological diseases: arthritis, asthma, urinary infections, chronic bronchitis, cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, colitis, diverticulitis, dysmenorrhea, eczema, epileptic conditions, hiatus hernia, hyper active children, hypertonia, acute bacterial and virus infections, acute and chronic, chronic poliomyelitis, benign prostate hypertrophy, schizophrenia, trauma of the spine with paralysis, stomach and duodenal ulcer, tumours of the bladder, of the prostatic gland, of the kidneys, of the testis, of the head and neck, of the breasts, of the cervix and the endometrium, of the ovaries, of the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, lungs, multiple melanoma, leukemia, lymphoma and sarcoma.

When treating cancer patients we strictly stick to the principles, formulated by Dr. Josef Issels, and namely:

1. Never promise a cure to anybody.
2. In dealing with prognosis, tell a patient or his/her responsible relatives that the first step is to arrest the tumour.
3. That will prolong life.
4. The next step is to try and make the tumour regress.
5. That will bring a further prolongation of life.
6. The patient should be told that the eventual medical aim is to try and reach the stage where the tumour disappears completely.
7. Time itself is another factor. Patients should be told that cure is a matter of time - in their case five years free of disease, the statistical yardstick used to measure cure rates.
8. Our aim is to try and achieve that situation. But we can make no promise. And we never talk of "cure" but "remission".
9. We always talk with the knowledge that positive treatment can be offered. That is much more precise and beneficial.
